Strengthening trust for customers running critical data workloads with an independent audit validating security, availability, and confidentiality controls over time.
Charlotte, North Carolina — January 14, 2026 — Customers rely on Fortified to support data-driven operations where security and uptime aren’t optional. Today, Fortified announced it has successfully completed its SOC 2® Type II audit, an independent assessment validating that Fortified’s controls for security, availability, and confidentiality are designed appropriately and operating effectively over an extended period.
The audit was performed by Sensiba LLP, a leading accounting and advisory firm, and provides third-party assurance that Fortified maintains disciplined, documented controls to help protect customer data and deliver consistent service.
“SOC 2 Type II is one more way we put customers first,” said Douglas McDowell, COO of Fortified. “Operational excellence isn’t a slogan for us—it’s how we run the business. Strong controls and repeatable processes help us protect customer data, keep the platform reliable, and earn trust every day.”
