Database servers are $995 a year. The Windows machines around them, the ones with no database on them, are $145. Two units, one edition, nothing held back.

What you don't pay extra for
Most of what makes database monitoring expensive is not the license. It is everything bolted onto it. We took those off the table.
No tiers
There is no Pro, no Advanced, no “FinOps add-on.” Query cost attribution, capacity planning, forecasting and anomaly detection are in the one edition. You cannot buy a better WISdom than the one you just bought.
No lock-in
Annual term, no auto-renew trap, no notice period required. You are not signing a three-year agreement to get a reasonable rate, and you are not negotiating your way out of one in year two.
No setup fee
Agentless. Nothing is installed on your SQL Server instances, so there is no professional-services line item to get started and no change window to schedule.
No seat count
Price is per server or host, not per user or per instance. The DBAs, the platform owner, and whoever asks for the cost report all get access.
No quote wall

How pricing works
Pay $995 a year for each server or host you want WISdom watching, and monitor unlimited SQL Server or Azure SQL instances on it. Monitor one server, monitor four hundred. There is no per-instance cap and no tier you age out of.
Every server gets the full feature set: monitoring, tuning, capacity and cost. Nothing is gated behind a higher edition, because there isn’t one.
Add servers anytime. Agentless deployment means a new server is reporting in minutes, not after an install ticket clears change control.
WISdom for Databases
One edition means the whole platform ships with every database server you monitor. Find it, fix it, prove it, end to end. Host monitoring licenses cover the machines around your databases and do not include these database features.

There are no tiers to compare and nothing is gated.

No. The database license covers that machine, including its operating system, its resource use and its cost. The host license is for the machines that have no database on them.
Inventory and configuration, CPU, memory and storage use, the cost of that compute and storage, and capacity and right-sizing analysis for the host. It is the rest of the estate around your databases: the application tier and the web and file servers.
